INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING IN CIVIL ENGINEERING

Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel
July 17-19, 2028

Welcome to NDT-CE 2028

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to the International Symposium on Nondestructive Testing in Civil Engineering (NDT-CE 2028), which will be held in Toronto, Canada, from July 17-19, 2028.

Since its inception in 1985, NDT-CE has established itself as the leading international forum dedicated to nondestructive testing, evaluation, monitoring, and assessment of civil infrastructure. For more than four decades, the symposium has brought together researchers, engineers, infrastructure owners, consultants, manufacturers, and technology developers from around the world to exchange knowledge, present innovations, and advance the state of practice in infrastructure assessment.

Today, societies face unprecedented challenges associated with aging infrastructure, climate resilience, urban growth, and the need for sustainable asset management. In response, the field of nondestructive testing and evaluation continues to evolve rapidly through advances in sensing technologies, robotics, artificial intelligence, digital twins, data analytics, and structural health monitoring systems. NDT-CE 2028 will provide a unique platform to explore these developments and discuss how emerging technologies can enhance the safety, reliability, and longevity of critical infrastructure.

The conference will feature keynote presentations by internationally recognized leaders, technical sessions highlighting the latest research and field applications, opportunities for collaboration between academia and industry, and an exhibition showcasing state-of-the-art technologies and services. Above all, NDT-CE 2028 aims to foster meaningful discussions that will shape the future of infrastructure inspection, monitoring, and management.

This year, the NDT-CE conference will be held in Canada for the first time. Toronto provides an ideal setting for this global gathering: as one of North America's most dynamic and diverse cities, it offers a vibrant environment for innovation, collaboration, and international exchange. We look forward to welcoming participants from around the world to experience both the technical excellence of the conference and the hospitality of Canada.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the members of the Scientific Committee, Organizing Committee, sponsors, exhibitors, authors, and volunteers whose efforts make this event possible. Most importantly, thank you to all participants for contributing to the continued success of the NDT-CE community.

We look forward to welcoming you to Toronto in 2028.
